POEM - WE RAISE A TOAST!

Today we raise a toast
To the strong us,
Who have ben pulled down by life's claws
Who have been laughed at, scorned and mocked
For our failures on the way to our goals.
Yet we endured the scars and downfalls
And put a smile across to the outside world.

What would have made Moses,
To put his rod in the bloody water,
Without fear that the waves
Would sweep him off his feet
Into the deep red sea?
